Miami SUCKS

Okay. Miami was horrible in my opinion, from my experience. I hear so many great things but when I went it was just terrible, FOR ME. Not telling everyone to not go, just that I didn't have the best of time. People were rude, beyond rude. Stuck up. Everything was so expensive. People pretty much just drink consistently and go to clubs where covers are extremely pricey and the dress code is crazy ridiculous. Other little things that happened, sucked too. Not going to get into details. ALSO DO NOT book with an aAirbnb with this host: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/14166043. She is extremely rude and passive agressive. She ended up kicking Anna out.

Good things about Miami:

  • Went with the highly energetic Anna Bao. Met her in Lima, Peru. She is from Boston, raised in NYC.
  • Met up with Juliet, met her in Cusco, Peru. Fellow art educator and yogi. She drove us around one day for a speedy tour. Got REAL cuban coffee at Cafe Versailles (highly recommended). Saw the Holocaust Memorial, The Hand. She took us to Wynwood Walls.
  • Wynwood was probably my favourite because it was more laid back bars and lots of street art and good tacos.
  • Went to Mango's restaurant and bar. For food and to dance with some drinks later. Very fun but super touristy.
  • Go to Wet Willies, a place with a million (okay maybe a little over a dozen) frozen alcoholic drinks.
