Ryanair, of course. I wasn't meant to go to Spain but while I was about to book my flight from London to Frankfurt to meet up with Nick. I did a little research and math. I ended up saving money going to Alicante for a night rather than staying another day in London and fly out then. Saving money when adding up my Airbnb and my flights. So duh, I'm going to Spain. I really just walked around and drank sangrias and ate paella for the two days and one night. I was really bummed out I couldn't find a place with Flamenco. But the food and drinks, the beach and the view from the Santa Barbara castle was more than enough. As well, as the beautiful weather, in the 60s. I found a great restaurant with thee nicest guys.
My Airbnb had the sweetest grandmother there. She was very patient with my refreshening my Spanish. My ears also were driving me nuts. Going into England and coming into Spain my ears would NOT pop. So my hearing was muy dificil (very hard).
The promenade.
Red Sangria (I had plenty of Cava ones that night) and Paella!
The man who took this photo was the best. If you know me I have a certain way of taking pictures during my trips and I didn't even have to tell him. He took like two dozen photos in every angle. God bless him.
Top of Santa Barbara Castle
Mickey/Miggos and Calid.
On the bus back to the airport, it was raining all day and I saw this beauty.
