Before I left Sheffield I was able to see some of the Peak District on the bus ride. It reminded me of the hills in Italy, it was gorgeous. I was about to fall asleep on the bus but I kept myself awake because I remembered Mollie telling me that I will go through them. I also forgot to tell you that I went in the Moor Market yesterday as one of the things I saw. I gaged when I saw the meat hanging from their tent. So I wasn't in there for long.
Manchester on the other hand is bigger I think. A lot more buildings than hills. Getting to my hotel, I was three and a half hours early before check in. However, I did ask with my reservation for an early check in and apparently they were sold out for a Manchester United football game yesterday. Lucky for me they could lock up my bag so I can go start my trek around the city. Did I mention it's Easter Sunday. Everything is closed! There are a good amount of people walking around, but barely anything was available. No museums or the shopping centre or the arena. I just walked by them. Fun fact: Manchester has an official Gay Village and it was pretty cool. I think the one thing I did get to do was ride the ferris wheel on Market St. Costed me nine pounds but I guess it is worth it if I can't see or do anything else. I got back to my hotel around two in the afternoon and called it a day. There was nothing else to see and I was exhausted. Showered and napped. Now I have to type an essay that is due this Friday. I never procrastinate but here, I do... a lot.
Tomorrow Liverpool.
