Denver Once More

Getting back from Arizona, 11 hours, I was super tired. Some how things got messed up with the airbnb site so, I couldn't stay in the Westy again. I stayed with Rez again, but inside. The guy sleeping in Westy was doing a roadtrip across the country on his motorcycle. Anyway, I fell asleep asap when I got back that night. Woke up early, around 7am to go to Colorado Springs. Okay, let's go back... The day I found out I would be going by myself, was the day I got a table that said they were from Colorado Springs (I am a waitress back home). They told me to go and to stop at the manitou incline. It's one mile high, steep. 2,000 feet altitude gain.

I did this. It was horrible. I got dizzy and almost puked. I don't do hiking people. It took me an hour and 30 minutes. Apparently, the fastest was 40 minutes. On the day I did it, there was an older man (maybe in 60s or 70s), he never stopped. I stopped like 20 times. I stopped after 5 minutes at the beginning. But this guy was slow. But he beat me. It literally was like the story about the turtle always wins the race. If you go do this, go park in the memorial park and take the free shuttle.

After this, I went back to Denver and showered, slept. Then I decided to go out one last time. Ran into Layton again and partied (Friday at Jacksons). Then left in the AM for Missouri.
